Hillry Clinton Visiting Bangladesh

 

On 5th May, US Secretary of State Hillry Clinton wil arrive in Bangladesh on a two-day trip as stated by the State Department. 
From here, she will move to India to complete two-nation southasia tour on 7th and 8th May. 
 
In Dhaka, the Secretary will review "robust US-Bangladesh cooperation across the full range of political, economic & security matters". In this regard,
Senior Government officials and civil society representatives are in list to meet with.
 
The secretary was primarily meant to attend the fourth round of US-China Strategic & Economic Dialogue in Beijing on May 3rd & 4th on her initial Asia Itinerary. Her sudden decision to visit Bangladesh and India came as a surprise as Dhaka was not listed in her itinerary.
