Two farmers killed in Narsingdi accident
Two farmers were killed and three others injured when a truck rammed a rickshaw-van at Shibpur upazila here today, police said.
The deceased were identified as Mister Mia and Bashir Ahmed and the injured are KhajaUddin, Mozammel and Manik Mia. All of them hailed from Lakhartak village of Shibpur upazila.
Police and local sources said, the accident occurred at Chaitanya bus stand this morning while the victims were returning home from the paddy field on a rickshaw-van full of paddy.
Two of them died on the spot and three others suffered serious injuries in the accident, the sources said.
Police sent the bodies to the Narsingdi Sadar Hospital for autopsy.A case was failed in Narsindi police station.
